Stark on Screen: America 250 Palace on the Go: The Golden Key
The Golden Key was created by photographer and filmmaker Nell Dorr in 1955. Presented in collaboration with the Canton Palace Theatre, the event will honor Dorr’s legacy and highlight the history of women’s roles in film. The panel discussion will feature industry leaders from around the country about the history of and current state of women’s roles in film.
Panelists featured are:
diane estelle Vicari, Director/Producer, DOCdance Productions; Stacey Malone, President/Founder of Women in Film Ohio; Jeanette Knazek, Tasha Tudor Scholar; Olivia Villasenor, Producer/Educator, Tri-C Film Academy.

A small selection of original photographic prints by Nell Dorr will be displayed in Gessner Hall the day of the event. Free registration is requested. Registration can be completed via Humanitix or by calling 330-833-4061.
